Nope, not dead. Been in Sweden for a few days for a quick holiday and visit the GF and family. Also managed to get sick again when I visited her. Gah. I don't know what it is but I've never gotten sick this many times in such a short amount of time. I usually get sick 1-2 times a year (with every big change, summer/winter).

Oh well. Protip here, never fly with a cold. My hearing is still not 100% back. Very painful experience. Will go for some medicine today and try to sort it out.

Also, good news. The secret world released a bunch of screenshots and a trailer with a ton of my stuff in it. Will be putting it up in the next few coming days.

Been very busy with work and having a small leak in my apartment... well... it's coming from above me when the neighbours use the washing machine... which they've done every day now. Good times.

Apparently they didn't get the message... or they're just fucktards.

Anyway, here's a sneak peak on the gun. Will be a front view aswell. Started briefly on it but put it on hold until all parts are refined. Still some edges and shapes to clean and detail to add.

Here we go. I won't break my promise to you guys. I might go over and add a few things here and there but I doubt it since this is more or less just a second brainstorming session.

I'll choose the top 3 from this list and then go over it much more/better and make sure the proportions work better together and such without deviating to much from the design aswell as making the concept much nicer with some color blockins etc.

Here's the top 3 fav's from round 1. People in general couldn't reach a consensus it seemed and more than 80% of the designs were mentioned. That either means there's something in all of them or they are all bad. I prefer the optimistic view.

These three were the fav's though with one or two extra votes. Interesting fact. I hated the design for both 1 and 3 but they grew on me and I def think they are really strong now.

Anyway. I hope to have the detailing done by tomorrow. It's tricky when I have to keep fancy fold-out animation in mind. I might not even be able to pull it off on some.

Stage 2 is iterating on the favorites and add more detail and variations. After that we select the lucky one to get tons of detail! :D

Just finished Dead Space 2, spent most evenings after work playing it this week and all I can say is bravo!, Finely crafted enjoyable and freaky as hell game. I'm not into the whole gorey, bloody, super violent and nasty thing but damn it, they do it well!

It's quite visual... in a "you'll be messed up in your head forever after"-way. Some scenes were especially cringeworthy... step 3 anyone!? the intro!? I also managed to feel super sorry for Isaac and the whole Nicole business.

Anyway, GO... PLAY... THIS... GAME!!!, Might have to do a new weapon, dead space 2 style. Could combine it with another thing I'm planning to do instead of what I had originally planned for. *cough cough*

Did a quick mock up / test on a new mesh for a little thing I'm putting together while watching the latest Top gear. It's by no means cool enough and I'll go over it alot more, try some different approaches and such.

How to get an animated mesh into UDK.

THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. I'VE ADDED IT NOW SO PEOPLE CAN LOOK AT IT AND GIVE CRITS AND TRY IT FOR THEMSELVES. WHEN THIS TEXT IS GONE IT'S "DONE".

Part 0 - Intro

With this hopefully simple and easy to follow guide I aim to give you the knowledge needed to get your animated props/objects into UDK. As always there's probably a hundred different ways you can do this, this is my way, it might not be the best or fastest but it's what worked/works for me.

If you want it I've also supplied some files of my own HERE that you can use.

I hate to say it but it has to be done in the current state of the world.

Any alterations or modifications you do to the files I supply doesn't make it yours and you can't use them for anything else than testing stuff out, studying and playing with it (feel free to show stuff off if you want). I've seen to much stuff just stolen and used / sold and I hate it. It's not like it's hard to do a box of your own. :)

Other than that, the files have been virustested and scanned and came up clean on my system.

I don't take responsibility for any potential crazyness that mig ensue though.

The programs and plugins used in this guide are as follows...

UDK - Unreal Development Kit

Autodesk 3ds Max (Trial and student-versions available. I assume Maya would work aswell but I don't know).
ActorX + More info / Tutorial (Plugin for exporting skeletal meshes and animations to UDK)

Outliner 2.0 - A plugin. Not important but good to have.

Note: This tutorial is not on how to animate, just how to get it into UDK. I know people are interested in the animation-part too so I might make a short guide for that depending on how this one is received. It's pretty easy... after all, I did it! :)

Part 1 - 3Ds max settings.

To make sure that your object and animations will be exported properly to UDK you need to go through a few harmless steps first.

First of all, naming. Every object and dummy/bone/whatever you've used needs a unique name. The proper way is to name it all uniquely like "Bottom_Box", "Top_Box_01", "Top_Box_02", etc but for testing purposes it's fine if you just select the "Rename objects..." function in max (under tools) and rename them all in one go like I did.

See, pretty names all around.

Another important thing to note is that you must group all your objects (and dummies/bones/etc) otherwise the exported mesh might not get all the pivots/bones needed to play the proper animation. See the image below if you don't know where the group option is.

Part 2 - ActorX and it's settings.

(Important, make sure you've installed ActorX.

Instructions can be found in Part 0)

The options and what they mean.

Output - The path you want to save your .PSK in. (Your mesh, for some reason you must click browse and navigate to the correct folder and then click "USE PATH"-button).
Mesh file name - What name your mesh will be saved as in the above directory.
Animation file name - Think of this as the file that contains your animations (more than one).
Animation sequence name - What the particular animation you are exporting at the time is called. In this case the box opens so Boxi_Opening is suitable.
Animation range - In this case the animation is 36 frames long so 0-36 (It starts at 0). So yes, you can have multiple animations in one long go. For example, Boxi_Opening (0-36) Boxi_Exploding (37-55) and Boxi_Dancing (56 to 100).
ActorX setup - What settings you want to use. I generally use these to make sure everything gets exported. For more indepth info go to UDK's ActorX tutorial page.

Part 3 - Exporting & Importing.

Go ahead and set up your settings as you want them. For convenience sake you might want to follow my lead. Anyway, now it's exporting time!

Select your group and click the "Save mesh/refpose"-button. You'll then get a bunch of messages. If the last message you get is "Skin file (meshname).psk written" we're golden!
Click the "Digest Animation"-button and it will save the animation you have set up.
Click the "Animation Manager"-button and you'll get this window...

NOW WE'RE DONE WITH MAX AND IT'S UDK TIME!

(psst, load it up)

I assume people know how to import objects so import your .psk (mesh-file) like you usually import stuff and save it in the folder/package of your choice.
Now right click in your content browser and create a "New Animset" way up at the top. I named mine "Boxi_Animset". Like magic it will have your box inside the animviewer by default. Otherwise just select your mesh in the skeletal mesh dropdown (top left under the menu).
Check the image below on how to import your PSA (animations).

Part 4 - Hooking it all up in UDK.

...and you're done. You have now imported an asset and it's animation.

Part 5 - Bonus - Smart preview trick in editor.

I learnt this trick and much more from the UDK super genius "Paul Mader" that I work with. Drag your skeletal mesh / object into the world. Then go into "unrealkismet".

In the kismet window right click in the open space and select "New Matinee". Then doubleclick on the created matinee-node. Inside the node do this...

Now, select the anim-track in the left field and hit ENTER on your keyboard. It will ask your for the "animsequence" (animation). You only have one so hit enter again and voila. You'll see this and be able to play it up.

In case you have questions, issues etc feel free to contact me either here (preffered so everyone can benefit) or through whatever channel you feel is best. I'll then try to help you out. Maybe it's a problem in my guide, maybe I could explain something better.

Call me crazy but I still like him, especially since I don't really do characters and I thought he turned out pretty well... although I do remember getting some pointers on the body from my AD at the time. :)

Been spending this whole week sick (did go to work for a turn to finish stuff) but that just made me sicker, heh, shit sucks... it's first now I'm feeling "ok". I still have an irritating cough and the ocassional sniffles but at least the throat is a-ok now. I think I had a milder case of the flu and then a cold... maybe they combined forces? All i know is, it sucked and I had the manliest voice on earth. Deep like a dragongrowl.

I've forced myself to actually take it cool (and chug huge amounts of tea) and not work while home so I can actually relax for once and get better. It was hard but I made it.

Decided to do some gaming and watch a ton of series, what else is there to do when sick? So yeah, gaming. I was mucking around with Rift quite a bit, got no other game in my life right now so why not? It's pretty fun actually. Gonna play around in the next beta event aswell and we'll see if I get it.

PS: What's up with all the plate bikinis? I'm supposed to be a warrior, not a lingerie model. Guess I'm getting old :(

Playing around with skeletal meshes, exporting psk's and psa's, setting up animations etc in UDK. Pretty fun stuff but yeah it's a bit tricky and finicky at times. Took me a few tries to get this right. It's not really hard it's just that there's a few things you have to keep in mind.

I'm still playing around with the animation and the look of the box hence the crappy pistons. I'm not an animator so this is new territory. Trying to figure out what works and not. I also intend to put up a minor guide once I'm done with it right here.

I've always had a wee little thing for the prop-making world. After all, they do what I do... in reality. Kinda... eh you get what I mean!

Either way. I'm getting some help from one of my girlfriends friends that knows a good deal about this stuff so I'm learning something every day since I keep pestering him with my questions and theories. It seems like I have an ok understanding about it but I bet I'll mess up big if i get started... if!

I still have to decide if I should take the plunge, expensive hobby (which hobby isn't?) haven't decided fully what my first virgin piece should be either and I don't have a workshop... tiny london apartment. Oh well, We'll see. It's very interesting and enjoyable to read about and watch tutorials on though.

Also, I'm pretty tired right now. Doing a lot of work right now but man is it gonna pay off. You'll love it when you see it! And just to have a picture in the blog entry. Here's the key ring we got from work this christmas (among other things). :)

So yeah. Lately I've been trying to get better at kismet since it's something that will greatly help any unreal-artist kick out awesome levels and it turns out you can do a whole bunch of wonderfull things in there related to game art aswell.

I can only do the most basic things (game designers do the fancy crazy stuff :)) like trigger effects, move/animate stuff, elevators and such but I'm learning.

Here's one simple thing I did the other day. A door that opens when you walk down the hallway. Nothing fancy. For those wanting to know more about Kismet I can recommend these two pages.

Here's a few things that's been going on in my life.

Currently living in London and working at Rocksteady LTD on Batman 2: Arkham City. Couldn't be happier, it's a great place and I learn a ton of new stuff. I previously worked at Splash Damage on a short term contract (2months), I worked on Brink during that time.

Oh yeah. Maybe should mention that me and a bunch of friends all got let go from Funcom due to economical reasons so that's why I'm not there anymore, Took me a few months to redo the portfolio but now I'm back in action and I'm in a much stronger position than ever before.

Drunken friday adventures

So. Here we are. The day after. Woke up at... i dunno, late as hell? Managed to conquer the hangover and could probably go for another round today... except that there´s nothing going on and Hans is on some crazy diet thing now so he doesn´t want to drink. Pfwah!

Tomorrow = Training again. Yay. Had to take a slow week because of the tattoo. Brazilian jiu jitsu next week aswell. Woo woo! Time to get owned again.

Oh well. Yesterday was filled with adventures. Some highlights

* Lots of studentgirls everywhere with crazy games going on. Rus-times oh yes!

* Getting drunk with mr danish.

* Free pizza, Free beer. Started drinking 17:00 and kept it up all night.

* Got myself quite a bit of love from friends. Old and new. Even a few strangers. (More than once i could feel people sneak in a feel on the arm Haha. :)) also I was a pretty flower in my lovely hat. Haha.

* Was in the winning team of the event. Check below for the rewards (Also some diploma thing will be put up in the social room)

* Lots of crazy events. Take pictures of things (A moose, santa, a politican etc), quizes and what not.

* Taxi home = AWESOME!

So here I am feeling a bit extra alive and spicy. Yes! Hot hot! Why you might ask?

For the following lovely reasons I then answer.

* Superparty on friday. Food and beer paid! Yep. Some social gathering thing on work and then after that a pub crawl / running around oslo kind of thing. Bar-hopping away! I´m gonna get so goddamn wasted that I forget my name. I need that.

Last i heard (don´t know if it´s true or not) around 90 people would go.

* I´m ranked nr 7 right now on a swedish tattoo community toplist. Pretty nice! Might score #6 aswell if i´m lucky! :)

* Pain makes you feel alive. I got it all. Physical. Mentall and Meta-fuckin-physical. Oh yeah, but it´s not so bad. I manage. I thrive. I conquer! Rawr! :D

* Getting extra cash from the state. Don´t know how much but rumor says 5-10k extra. We will see.

* Working on my stuff. Doesn´t make you feel that alive though... but meh! It give options!

* Art director gave me a big stamp of approval today. Some things were maybe a bit to "much" but overall he liked it alot. Which is pretty nice due to me getting almost total freedom at the moment... no wait. I do get total freedom.

* A secret secret thing that I can´t say yet. *tease tease*

* Getting a kilt. You know... I have to. :) "When your balls are free, you will find inner peace."

* Printed out my Business cards.... FOR FREE! So yeah! Time to rock them and see if people approve :)

So i tried Brazilian Jiu Jitsu today and what can I say? Certainly made me tired (REALLY tired). It was my first time after all. Had to sit out two sparring matches out of 4 because I was so beat by the end.

Also I didn´t know much so I couldn´t really do more than trying hard to not let them get me. Not to easy if you´re all out of gas mind you. Urgh. Was horribly dominated by my roommate haha. Had a tough time with just the warm up. I failed hard on the situps but meh! I´ll get there someday. . :)

I will probably go back. Seems like great exercise. Haven´t been this tired in ages.
Big kudos to a workmate that let me borrow his GI today aswell!

Oh and tattoo time tomorrow! And just to honor BJJ. Here´s a lovely video! :D

So I took out the ear piercing today so I got a hole going straight through me right now. Gonna take care of it all real nice like. Did it for a few reasons.

1) You dont really see it.
2) It´s a pain in the butt.
3) I hope the scaring will heal up faster. Check the picture to see what i mean. Will take some time but i´ve heard that it will at least get noticebly smaller with time.
4) Going to start the BJJ on thursday. Instead of taking the piercing in and out (which might hurt me even more) i just decided to take it out fully.

Hehe, feels like wasted money but what can ya do. Live and learn. Now to tend to this. :)
I also changed the jewelry from a ring to a stud in my lip. Same reason as nr 4. To easily take it in and out during practice. This one is fully healed though so it´s gonna be ok.

Oh and just because i´m an attention whore. I´ll take some proper ones on friday after the tattoo-session. Hehe. Yay. Naked colored me! (And no I won´t wear the hat. I promise)

So what have I been doing this easter? Mostly playing games, drinking alcohol (not much, just a little drink at the evenings) and some drawing. Did that 3D helmet aswell so it´s not all fun and games but the plan is to draw some more today.

I´m just playing with new brushes and different methods right now and setting up the computer at home for drawing. Never did that at home really. I´m really lousy with anatomy and perspective so I got to learn that.

Here´s a quick quick WIP that I did yesterday. I know it looks like crap but maybe I can do some magic with it. It´s just a quick sketch so I won´t spend much time on it. :)

And I tried a new game today called "The hunter" (tried it before but said meh, gave it some more time today). You are basically a hunter and you hunt animals in a huge virtual forest. Very swedish forest to be honest.

Sounds boring right? It is in the beginning but when you finally get on an animals trail and get to hunt it, stalk it and chase it, Then it gets really fun! Cat and mouse! They can smell you etc. The caveman in you takes over! Pretty fun! Will give it a few more go´s. :)

Managed to get my first kill aswell today after along time of cat and mouse. Damn it felt good! I´m just hoping I can play it with my homie Carl soon. No multiplayer support yet. We are going to dominante those poor animals! :D

Haven´t written for ages. Don´t know why. Guess I got bored with it. I don´t know. Oh well. Let´s try again. I will post more of my art and tutorials etc now aswell so I hope that will make it more interesting. :)

Easter is really killing oslo by the way. Check below for some images.

NOTE: This is a huge post. The rest won´t be this huge. Haha.

Training:
Did a diet thing for 5 weeks where i lost around 10kg´s. I´ve regained some of that weight now and i started training again a few weeks ago at the gym. Desperatly need it.

I´m currently trying to stay away from the carbs... but some sneak in. I also eat less than i did before so yeah. The goal is to lose 5-10 more before summer :)

Will also start training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu after easter. I think that will be fun... and hard. Need to talk to my piercer first though. I hope i can do some competitions in it. Always wanted to compete.

Work:
Came into a very dedicated working spree the beginning of this year. Worked 24/7. Got myself a pretty nice payrise aswell so living is not as hard anymore :)

Might get some extra work in denmark after the summer. Looks very promising. Very well paid. Let´s call it consulting. Not a new job or anything like that. Will put these money on the motorcycle :D

Still working hard on becoming a good famous artist aswell. No breakthrough yet but i´m learning.

Social:
Very neutral. Need more friends from outside the company. Not to healthy for your sanity just live "inside the company". Hard though. It´s easier to get swedish friends but they always leave after a few months ;)

Broke up with the girlfriend. It was a mutual decision although she "needed"/"wanted" it the most. Was friends for awhile. She turned out being someone else than the one i thought she was in the end. So yeah, a shame actually. I miss her but what can ya do. Better luck next time and all that. Just focusing on my art and my career now. It helped/helps. :)

Other:
Went into overdrive mode on the tattoo. Going every month to get it finished now. And mom is apparently helping my sister out with the drivers licensce which means money for me apparently.

Was very surprised to hear this but yeah. Very appriciated. I´m putting all of that money into my own license and motorcycle. So it´s finally happening for me.

Other than that i try to do as many personal projects as possible. Here´s a few images of what i´m currently working on.

Took a break. Here we go again. 5-6 hours tattoo session comes to an end. Got a new lovely deal from him. "Special price for you my friend!"

Anyway. It was rough. Very rough. Felt like shit a long itme afterwards but i can do it and thats what counts! YAY! I´M MORE OF A MAN THAN I THOUGHT I WAS!

Anyway. Sorry for the low lit conditions... kitchens arent a good place to take pictures in. Especially not at night. When its healed there will be new ones. Got a cameraman now. Two in fact.

And as last time the fish will be a bit brighter when they are healed. Even though he is using a new ink now. I´m also going to use a new (EXPENSIVE AS SHIT) lotion half of the time. (Daytime) so we will see how it looks in the end :)

Time to be under plastic every night for 3-4 nights. He wanted it during the day at first but figured it wouldnt be necessary (or good because we couldnt wrap me up in a good way).

Also. I want somme sympathy from the girlfriend. *whine whine* *puppyeyes*

We were out in the raging heatwave for 5 hours. Yikes!
(Had a friend over from Sweden for a few days which was bloody nice and awesome in so many ways if i may say so myself. Just took us one year to pull off. Mad props to him as some crazy american frat boy would say! Good times indeed! :D

Let´s just hope we can get him to come back and work here!

I HAVE MY VACATION NOW! WOO! A buddy of mine will be arriving in Oslo at 8 on wednesday. Let´s just say. Wooo! Iron maiden concert and everything! :)

Found a bunch of old pictures i hadn´t put up... so here´s a few. Will look through the archives and see if i find more. I completely forgot about the tatto convention i went to so those will be put up.

No new tattoo pictures. Still waiting for the next session that will happen next week (I think). Putting some more time into the background and maybe one fishy. I´ll just let him decide. Almost got the new guitar last month aswell. Was so close... didn´t get the tax returns though (Getting it later) so i sadly had to give it away. :/

So whats up. Haven´t been training as much as i should lately which is quite shamefull but you know. Its not getting worse, only better. So hey hey. :)

I also increased my social circle four times. Which is freakin nice. Alot of likeminded people aswell which is even better. Thats why this post will be the new friend post! :)

Also... im taking the plunge. Im gonna get myself a motorcycle. Not today or tomorrow. Need to save the money and start getting the license... but i am going there. Alot of the people in my generation are more into the sport-bikes and what not. I don´t really want one of those and apparently thats oh so bad. Well. That´s for them to say. As my friend said.

"I dont know why you have to pick. Both are good. One is for cruising down the highway with a chick holding on to you and the other is to ride yourself to death with when she ditches you."

I kind of agree. Im not getting a bike to go incredibly fast. Which i cant do on the roads here in europe anyway. Autobahn maybe but really!?. Im not much for the tracks either so. If i was, id probably get one of those. Besides. Cruiser bikes go fast enough. I have my eyes on a few beauties.

Here´s two new pictures of the healed result. Well, pretty much healed anyway. Got 2 weeks of healing left to do on the inside.

The pictures turned out badly since i had to do acrobatic movements by myself again to get them and i think the light messes with the quality a bit. The gradient is alot smoother in real life.

Yeah. Here´s the results after sitting #2. Had some troubles with my skin since it wasnt fully healed so we decided to go for backgrounds instead of details and shading / color etc as he first planned. So the next sitting will also be focused on backgrounds.

Detail , shading and color will come last on the motives.

This hurt so-so. First 2 hours were ok. No real pain. It was interesitng since i could sit face to face to him and look at that he was doing. Afterwards he entered the DANGER ZONE! and it started hurting like crap. A few areas didnt feel at all though but man...

IM REALLY DAMN SORE NOW! Stings like hell and im currently under plastic protection! Woo! Gonna sleep in a min.... :/

Will write about it later but yeah it hurt. Took time and I´m really happy with it even though the shock of me actually doing it is pretty big. Feels pretty much the same as when i did the piercing just more thought-through... and extreme ;)

Yes it hurt. And yes now it stings.

Ps: I am working out and decreasing in weight so dont worry. The further i get on the tattoo, The smaller my stomach will become. (I hope ;))

I was out yesterday with a few friends of mine and stumbled upon a huge demonstration. Behind the huge demonstration was a smaller one and well... It was basically about homosexual adoptions and marriage. Something I haven´t really put much thought into. I´m not against it though.

Love is love. Alot of the words uttered by the anti-homosexuality people were along the lines of "a woman cant take a fathers place" etc and what can I say. According to their logic I should be sent to hell or something. After all. I grew up with a single mom. Especially the guy with the huge sign was pretty interesting... in a scary psychopathic way.

There´s far worse things out there to worry about than the kids having two same sex parents.

I don´t have a picture of it but placed out around the bigger demonstration were some christian groups that more or less had signs saying "Remember, All christians aren´t against this". Furthest in the back (surrounded by police) were the "Alternative" crowd who was for it. I was on their side mind you.

Anyway. After that I went to my piercer with another friend and later to a tattooist where we hanged out and spent some time talking to them. Fun stuff fun stuff. Apparently my friend remembered the girl from waaaaay back and it turned out that she had dated my friends cousin. What are the odds? :)

By the way. I love my piercer. You actually feel liked and remembered by her since she always knows who you are, when youve been there and what everything is about hehe. I ordered a bunch of jewelry 2-3 months ago (Kind of hard to get them since they are an odd size) and she instantly walked up to me and said she would get them next week. Nice! :)

I´ll show them off for you then :D

WARNING: LONG POST!

And I´m back! So what can I say about my current status in life.

Well, I´m having kind of a down-period right now and mentally I don´t feel all that great. Maybe it´s just spring-depression but who knows. I have alot to think about and lot´s to do to get ontop of myself again. I found out (well, don´t we always know what the case is? We are just being blind to the truth?) tend to focus and base myself alot on other what other people think and do around me and that. Well, that just doesn´t work very well. So here´s to me doing more stuff on my own that I want to do and to find out who I am once and for all and to stop basing so much on other people.

Anyway!

About the concert. It was great. Really great. They are after all one of my favorite bands and they played like 95% of my favorite songs. They only missed "Good rats"... buuut I couldn´t really get into it and appreciate it fully due to a few facts.

1) My roomie kind of stood me up like less than an hour before the show so i had to find someone else to go with in that time. I guess it´s not his kind of music after all. Luckily a girl I knew who loved them as much as I do and maybe even more was available. She "loves" me now, Hey free ticket.

2) The place i stood at had a high level of drunk guys wanting to be manly. Which meant alot of cussing and alot of picking fights. I don´t know why but alot of them seemed like they wanted to fight. Luckily, not with me. (I did see a guy with a bloody nose though)

3) Some guy had crapped his pants I think because it surely smelled like it every now and then. It was a smell that persisted longer than the average fart.

4) I lost my favorite scarf-thingy (you know, the palestinian kind) the same day in the stress on my way over there but I did find it when I came home though. Which meant yay!

So good people of the web. I haven´t written in awhile. Oddly enough I have been planning to but I always dropped out in the last second. Anyway.

Just wanted to say that I´m gonna update this post today. It´s my personal goal for the day. I have quite a few pictures to choose from so expect some variation. All from old buildings in Oslo to the latest Dropkick Murphys concert here in Oslo yesterday. (Which i have quite a few things to say about, Some good, Some bad). Expect some heavy reading.

And just to keep things flowing, here´s the shirt i bought from them yesterday. Do note that my version doesn´t have the tourdates on the back. Just their name. Lovely enough the person I was with declared fairly loudly and passionately that green was a really great colour on me.

Maybe it´s worth checking into eh?

EDIT: I also bought a dropkick murphys patch for my jacket. It´s basically ALMOST the same as the image furthest down. The t-shirt. (But i got the patch remember? ;))

Hello good (and bad) people. Had a very interesting weekend recently and of course I have some pictures to show of from it.

Me and my roommate went out and later met up with a friend that had recently moved to Oslo. We went to www.elmstreet.no (Favorite bar) to check out two live bands and it was... simply... great!

Sure it wasnt my favorite kind of music but still. Everything is good live. You kind of get sucked into it. The night ended with me being extra social towards everyone and some of the more interesting people i talked to was for example the two kiss-fans from Iceland. Really nice people.

The quality of these pictures are really poor. And i mean really very extra poor. I blame unsteady hands, Jumping people around me and alot of other... factors.

Also. I do have a few nice clips from the phone from the live playing. Will see if i can get those online anytime soon aswell. :)

I think this is the first time I ever post any pictures of people (On any board, etc) that is not of myself. The quality of these ones are really low due to the camera struggling in low-lit conditions.

But still... they all hold a meaning to me. Of course there´s more people in my life but I don´t have any pictures of them.

Going through these pictures really brings up memories since three of them aren´t really "close" to me anymore. Work, School, etc in different countries.

(One of my better friends of all time and someone I really like. She´s from the same region as me in Sweden which makes it all so much better. We were pretty close. Great person at heart.)

(We came to Norway at the same time and lived together in a shared company apartment. We more or less became "a duo" after that since we were in the same team and had a similar taste in both music, interests, hangouts and women. After he left Norway, Life here was not quite that fun anymore. )

3) My crazy hardcore Hansel
(My roommate. He is crazy, Very crazy. Almost got beaten up yesterday because of him when we were out. Yikes. Got a bit mad on him there for awhile but he´s probably learnt his lesson now ^hopes^ )

4) The austrian
(An intern at my company that had a similar taste in music and clubs. Him and the crazy canadian and me usually went out in the weekends... I had some social phobias for those places at first but now I like it. All because of them. He left for school at the same time as the crazy canadian. )

Hey all. Just wanted to tell you that my new phone is here. Bought it in Sweden for much less than it costs here in norway. Probably "saved" around 1.500:- SEK or more on it. Anyway.

Here´s a bunch of test images (first day in the field) I took today while I was walking to work. The quality is quite nice in my opinion. Sure it doesn´t have the "Wee´ness" of a regular camera but daaang. It´s quite good for a phone camera and it´s gonna get better when the fanbase starts tweaking the firmware for it.

And I love being able to take pictures whenever I want and I prefer to have one gadget that does it all. I pretty much always have the phone in hand so taking a picture is just a matter of seconds and with a camera it´s usually more "Planned". So I´m quite pleased. The quality of these photos will only improve.

These are slightly tweaked in Photoshop just so you know. (Adjust Levels, Brightness contrast sometimes and depending on how much I shaked my hand around, some slight sharpness.). Still, much more to learn. There are a few settings and i need to get aquainted with the camera aswell.
