Other than being super sick and not being able to draw as much. Here's a value study I wrapped up.
Somehow this one felt harder. Maybe the less contrasty nature of the image was putting me off?
Anyway, I'm gonna try and experiment with some looser studies next, Still Lighting/Value studies of course but I would like to try and knock a few quicker (but good ones) out. Maybe base it on stills from movies/shows.
I'm doing a little thumbnail exercise at work too that I hope to wrap up this week. It will be a mix of moon/night environment thumbs.
